Children's Hospital Colorado

HomeVirtual TourLower Level Overview

The lower level is the Blue Whale floor.

The lower level of Children’s Hospital Colorado houses the cashier and the Center for Gait and Movement Analysis, the only center of its kind in our region. To reach these services, simply take the outpatient elevators (located to the east of welcome desk) down one level from the hospital’s main entrance. The Center for Gait and Movement Analysis is located just 30 feet from the elevators to make it easier for patients with limited mobility.

Services on Lower Level

Our cashier, located on the lower level to the left of the elevator bank, can cash parents’ personal checks of up to $50. For added convenience, two ATMs are located on the main floor of the hospital. The cashier is open between Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Center for Gait and Movement Analysis

Our spacious Center for Gait and Movement Analysis (CGMA) lab features state-of-the-art equipment, specialized therapeutic procedures, training activities and comprehensive motion analysis — all in one location. The space has separate bathrooms and changing areas equipped with lockers for patient use. Large exam and treatment rooms accommodate wheelchairs, walkers and assistive devices. The waiting area features state-of-the-art portals, which allow families to watch patients in the measurement area.
